Love's remembrance, Lord, Thou seekest

From Thine own assembled thus;

In the bread we break Thou speakest

Of Thy body giv'n for us:

Holy vessel of God's pleasure

In His service day by day;

Nothing but His will Thy measure

All along that suff'ring way.

Lord, we drink the cup of blessing,

The communion of Thy blood,

Thus as one our love confessing

For Thyself, blest Son of God.
